Having trouble with the ISBA on-demand CLE platform? We're here to help! Browse answers to frequently asked questions below, and contact the CLE team at cle@inbar.org if you need additional assistance. How do I access the library? ISBA’s on-demand CLE library is open to both members and non-members. When you click on the link to access the platform from inbar.org/ondemand, you will be prompted to enter login credentials. Existing ISBA members may access the library using their established ISBA login credentials, but non-members must first register as a Guest Learner to create a username and password that can be used to access and purchase on-demand courses. Registration as a Guest Learner does not include ISBA membership, and Guest Learners are considered non-members for the purposes of program pricing. Click here to register as a Guest Learner or to join as a member » The first time you log in, you will be prompted to give the platform permission to access your member profile and asked to accept the website's privacy policy. After that, the site will automatically recognize your login credentials using single sign-on authentication.
Help! I don't know my login credentials. If you are a current ISBA member or Guest Learner (non-member) and need login assistance, please contact Julie Gott, Membership Coordinator, at 317-639-5465 ext. 937 or jgott@inbar.org. Please note: If you were previously an ISBA member but your membership has expired, you will not be able to sign up as a Guest Learner using the same email address as your expired membership. Please contact cle@inbar.org for assistance.
I purchased a CLE on the previous on-demand platform but haven't watched it yet. How can I access it on the new platform? Please contact cle@inbar.org and the CLE team will manually enroll you in the course.
Navigating the on-demand CLE platform Home Upon logging in, you are taken to your Home page. The My Courses section features any courses in which you are currently enrolled but have not yet completed. To begin or resume a course, simply click on the tile for that program. On the Home page, you will also find popular courses and quick links to helpful ISBA resources.
The Catalog tab features all courses available for on-demand viewing. You may search for CLEs by keyword and use the filters to the left of the screen to narrow courses down by topic and/or price. The CLE accreditation dates are listed for each course on the Catalog, and the price listed automatically reflects the registration fee appropriate for your membership level. To view additional course details, including a program description and speaker information, click on the blue "Learn More" button. To purchase directly, select "Add to Cart" and you will be taken to a checkout screen. Once checkout is complete, you'll be directed to the My Learning tab, where may begin viewing the program immediately. My Learning The My Learning tab displays information about your course enrollments. Any CLEs you have not yet completed will be located under the In Progress section. From here, you may launch the course and view your completion status and deadline. Once you finish a course, it will appear in the Completed Courses section. This section features all CLEs completed through the ISBA only; it does not include courses from other providers. From here, you may download a transcript of all courses you've completed on the ISBA platform. For each CLE listed in the Completed Courses section, you may also revisit the course description page, re-launch the recording, and download a copy of your certificate of completion. The Certificates section also allows you to download copies of your automatically-generated CLE completion certificates.
How do I purchase and view CLEs?Upon logging into the platform using your ISBA credentials, navigate to the Catalog section. You may search for CLEs by keyword and use the filters to the left of the screen to narrow courses down by topic and/or price. When you have found the course you'd like to purchase, you may click the blue "Learn More" button for a program description and speaker information or select "Add to Cart" to be taken directly to a checkout screen. Once checkout is complete, you'll be directed to the My Learning tab, and you may begin viewing the program immediately by clicking the blue "Launch" button. Note: If the program you wish to view has no registration fee for your member type, there will be no price listed on the Catalog item and you'll see a "Launch Course" button rather than "Add to Cart." No checkout process is required for free programs. Once you've launched the course, you'll see three elements: the course video; the course slides; and the course survey. You must watch the entire video AND complete the survey in order to receive completion credit. As you complete these pieces, a green check mark will appear beside each element. As soon as both are complete, your attendance will be recorded, and ISBA will report your CLE credit to the Office of Admissions & Continuing Education (ACE) within 30 days. Reminder: A course will automatically move from the In Progress section to the Completed Courses section of the My Learning tab once you have met the criteria listed above. If you are unsure of why a course is not showing as complete, please contact cle@inbar.org and the CLE team will look into it.
How do I make sure my attendance credit is recorded/reported?Upon launching a course, you must watch the entire video AND complete the survey in order to receive completion credit. The course survey includes a field to enter your Indiana attorney number to ensure proper reporting. As soon as the course video and survey are complete, a green check mark will appear beside each element, and your your attendance will be recorded in the platform. ISBA will report your CLE credit to the Office of Admissions & Continuing Education (ACE) within 30 days.
I finished a course, but it's still showing as in progress, not completed.More than likely, this means either the course video was not viewed in its entirety or the course survey was not completed. Launch the course from your Home or My Learning tab and examine whether the Course Video or Course Survey elements show a green check mark or yellow half-full circle. The yellow circle indicates that the element still needs to be completed. Either watch the remainder of the video or complete the course survey, and the course will automatically update to complete. If you have trouble, contact cle@inbar.org and the CLE team will look into it.
How can I download a certification of completion for a course?Attendance certificates are automatically generated for each CLE you complete and include the course name, credit amount, course number, and completion date. After finishing a course, navigate to the My Learning tab and click on the Certificates header to view and download a certificate.
I need to report CLE credit in another state. What do I do?ISBA CLE courses are approved for credit in Indiana only. Individuals seeking credit in other states are responsible for submitting the course for approval to the respective crediting organization. ISBA staff is happy to provide you with the necessary documentation for requesting credit in another state. Talk to our CLE team at cle@inbar.org.
What browser or device should I use to view courses on the platform? Courses may be accessed on any device but perform most smoothly on a computer. For the best experience, you should use the most recent version of your computer’s operating system. Windows 10 and macOS 10.15 or later are recommended. Ensure your browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge) is up-to-date with the latest version. You should also use a broadband network connection with a minimum download speed of 10 mbps. For the best streaming experience, close all other tabs, browsers, windows, or programs. Use an ethernet cord instead of WiFi whenever possible.
