As the largest legal organization in the state, the ISBA advocates on behalf of its members, monitoring legislation that is likely to have an impact on the legal profession.
Further, when individuals or organizations propose bills that, if approved, will significantly affect the citizens of our state, our lobbyist and other ISBA members engage in the process by talking to legislators and testifying at committee hearings in order to educate our representatives and the public as to the consequences of a bill. To learn more, connect with Paje Felts, legislative counsel at the ISBA, at pfelts@inbar.org or (317) 639-5465.
