Help Support Advocacy for the Legal Profession

The Indiana State Bar Association Political Action Committee (BAR-PAC) is a bipartisan entity created to improve the administration of justice and support the legal profession. It is not affiliated with any political party, caucus, or candidate.
BAR-PAC promotes the improvement of government, encourages legal professionals to better understand and get involved in their government, and improves the administration of justice by:
- Promoting the election of individuals who have demonstrated an appreciation of the legal system, as evidenced by support of legislation that ISBA believes will help the legal system better serve the public;
- Promoting the election of candidates who support legislation that will enhance the delivery of professional services by members of the legal profession; and
- Promoting the election of candidates who support legislation that will improve the judicial system.
Although BAR-PAC has discretion over expenditures, it believes strongly in supporting the candidacy of lawyer legislators regardless of party affiliation.
