Locate Your Lawyer is a public directory of all ISBA members. It shares some of the basic information about members that they have listed in their ISBA profiles as “public,” such as their name, employer, address, and practice areas.

Locate Your Lawyer makes it easy for Hoosiers to contact ISBA members directly. A basic profile has already been created for all active and eligible ISBA members. The basic profile includes contact information, title, up to three practice areas, a photo, and education history.

Hoosiers seeking to hire lawyers are being directed to ISBA's Locate Your Lawyer directory. The public directory receives 60,000+ views per month of Hoosiers seeking to hire attorneys.

ISBA members are encouraged to review and update their directory profiles.

The Locate Your Lawyer directory is an online resource which helps consumers search for and hire an ISBA member to serve their legal needs.

The directory is part of a national online public lawyer directory, which also includes members of the State Bar of Michigan, the Illinois State Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, and others. It is operated by ReliaGuide, a public benefit corporation.

ISBA members have access to a free Basic Profile on Locate Your Lawyer. In addition, members have the option to upgrade to the fully featured Profile Plus for less than the cost of one billable hour per year!

Choosing your Profile Option

Basic Profile - Helping you get found

A basic profile has already been created for all active and eligible members of the Indiana State Bar. The basic profile includes contact information, photo, title, up to 3 practice areas, and education history.

Profile Plus – Helping you get hired

When searching for a lawyer online, a majority of consumers are interested in seeing a lawyer’s experience and credentials as well as the types of cases they handle. Profile Plus allows you to easily provide this information and give more insight about yourself and your practice so consumers can see what makes you the perfect fit for their legal needs.

If you are looking to grow your practice and are interested in attracting new clients, upgrading to Profile Plus for $10/month or $110/year will allow you to round out your profile and improve your chances of getting hired. 

 

Additionally, the analytics included with Profile Plus provide insight into how potential clients are engaging with information in your business card (your listing in the search results list) as well as your expanded profile. You will know what items are being clicked and what the search activity has been for your first three practice areas listed for the most recent 90-day period. Additionally, you will receive statistics on the most actively searched practice areas statewide.
