Leslie Craig Henderzahs elected vice president of Indiana State Bar Association


INDIANAPOLIS (Sept. 29, 2017) – Leslie Craig Henderzahs, Noblesville, was elected as vice president of the Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA) for 2017-18 at the Association’s annual meeting in Indianapolis. Her term will expire in October 2018, after which she will become president-elect and then president of the ISBA. As president, she will represent the single largest legal organization in the state.


Henderzahs is a partner at the firm Church Church Hittle & Antrim with offices located in Noblesville, Fishers, Tipton and Merrillville. She is the first female partner in the firm. She focuses her practice in civil litigation and is a certified family law specialist as certified by the Family Law Certification Board. Prior to joining the firm, she served as law clerk to Hon. J. Patrick Endsley, magistrate judge, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. Additionally, she serves as judge pro tem for the Hamilton County Superior Courts.


Henderzahs is the 2016 recipient of the Gale M. Phelps Award from the ISBA Family and Juvenile Law Section, recognizing her for contributions to the family law legal community. She is an active member of the Indiana State Bar Association (member, Board of Governors; chair, Women in the Law Committee; member, Nominating Committee; volunteer, Mentor Match; member, Budget & Finance Committee; and delegate, House of Delegates). Additionally, she has been a Fellow of the Indiana Bar Foundation since 1996. Locally, she served as an executive member of the Hamilton County Bar Association and served as president from 2012 to 2014. She served on the board of the Noblesville Boys & Girls Club and the Hanover College Parent’s Board.


Henderzahs received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University and her J.D. from the I.U. Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 1990. While there, she served in the Phi Delta Phi fraternity as Exchequer. She is married to E. Allen Henderzahs and together they have three daughters: Shelby, Caroline and Madelyn.
