Welcome to the Indiana State Bar Association

We are lawyers, judges, paralegals, law librarians, law students and legal and court administrators. We are the ISBA. Our organization was founded in 1896 to advance the profession of law and secure a more effective administration of justice; to promote reforms in the law; and to encourage excellence in legal education for both the law student and the practicing lawyer. With more than 12,000 members, the Indiana State Bar Association is the single largest legal organization in the state, serving the public and profession for more than a century.

What is IndianaDocs?
IndianaDocs is a document assembly system consisting of a library of forms created by various substantive law sections of the ISBA that significantly reduces the time spent generating customized documents. "IndianaDocs offers a state-of-the-art solution to Indiana lawyers at a fraction of the cost of HotDocs or similar software, and without the steep learning curve associated with them," said J. Lamont Harris, partner at the Law Offices of Henthorn Harris & Weliever and chair of the IndianaDocs Review Committee.

Why use IndianaDocs? Increased productivity and lower cost
Research indicates that creating documents from within a document assembly system is 50-80% quicker than standard creation. For more information about a subscription to IndianaDocs and a full list of forms, please visit www.indianadocs.net or contact David Ott at 1.800.266.2581 or dott@inbar.org.
