Tracy McDaniel receives Hon. Viola J. Taliaferro Award from the Indiana State Bar Association
INDIANAPOLIS (Aug. 30, 2017) – Tracy McDaniel’s concern and commitment to addressing domestic human trafficking were recognized at the Indiana State Bar Association’s annual awards luncheon in Indianapolis on Aug. 30, where she received the Hon. Viola J. Taliaferro Award.
McDaniel is the founder and CEO of Restored Inc., which provides services and outreach to domestic victims of sex trafficking. Tracy formulates statewide strategies to address domestic human trafficking through victim services, law enforcement coordination and awareness. She partners with the Indiana state government, local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, nonprofit leaders, and community members to provide victim and outreach services. She develops trainings for youth, professionals and provides public awareness. Tracy is a participant of the Indiana Supreme Court CSEC Committee and actively participates in recovery operations with law enforcement. She is a forensic interviewer and has a master's degree in social work with a focus on anti-demand of human trafficking and trauma counseling.
