Law Practice Management

Providing law practice management (LPM) resources is a key focus of ISBA and ISBA's Law Practice Management Committee. The committee provides CLE, checklists, forms, and additional resources for solo and small firm attorneys, with an emphasis on practical ways to improve client services, including the use of new technologies.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact Ashley Higgins at ahiggins@inbar.org.

Your Law Practice Toolkit

Mentorship

Mentorship isn’t one-size-fits-all. Legal professionals at any stage of their career can benefit from having mentors, being mentors, or both. Whether you’re seeking career guidance, exploring a new practice area, or looking for a sounding board for professional challenges, ISBA’s mentorship programs provide the flexibility to connect in ways that work for you.

Mentor City is ISBA’s new mentorship platform designed to help members connect with mentors and mentees on their own terms. This system allows you to:

  • Create a profile that highlights your goals, interests, and areas of expertise.
  • Search for mentors based on practice area, career stage, or specific skills.
  • Connect and schedule meetings to build meaningful relationships that fit your needs.
