Health and Safety Protocols

ISBA Events: Health & Safety Protocols

ISBA will follow recommended local, state and federal protocols in place at the time of the event to maintain maximum social responsibility. Any protocols in place will be communicated to attendees in advance of the event. Additionally, if we need to make adjustments to our protocols, including reducing the event’s maximum capacity, we will notify registrants as soon as possible. For the current CDC guidelines, please visit here.

Self-Check Before You Go

Before you go, you should assess whether you may have symptoms of COVID-19 by using the CDC self-check tool. Regardless of vaccination status, you should isolate from others when you have COVID-19. You should also avoid contact with anyone who is exhibiting symptoms. Please note the CDC advises that older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions might be at higher risk for severe illness from COVID19. You should evaluate your risk in determining whether to attend. Any interaction with the public poses an inherent risk of being exposed to COVID-19, and we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed while attending an ISBA Event.

Daily Temperature Checks

We ask that all attendees complete a health screening and temperature check at home prior to arriving at the venue where the ISBA event will be held. Individuals who are ill and/or with a temperature of 100.4 degrees should stay home and notify ISBA staff. Individuals who have come into contact with someone who has COVID-19 should you wear a high-quality mask for 10 days and get tested on day 5.

At the Event

Continuously monitor yourself throughout the day. If you are not feeling well while onsite at the event, please go home. If you are feeling too ill to travel home, contact any ISBA onsite staff member.
