Indiana State Bar Association to sponsor 2016 "Lady Justice" Girl Scout program
INDIANAPOLIS (May 20, 2016) - The Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA) Women in the Law Committee is teaming up with the Girl Scouts of Central Indiana to offer its sixth annual "Lady Justice" program on Saturday, May 21. The half-day program is aimed at teaching Girl Scouts about the law, how to become a lawyer or judge, how to set career goals and their rights as citizens. The girls will earn a Girl Scout badge after completing exercises on the Bill of Rights and goal setting, hearing from a panel of successful women attorneys and judges, and participating in a mock trial (B.B. Wolf v. Curly Pig).
