Allyson E. Claybourn installed as chair-elect of ISBA Young Lawyers Section

INDIANAPOLIS (Oct. 22, 2015) – Allyson E. Claybourn, Evansville, was elected chair-elect of the Young Lawyers Section (YLS) of the Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA) at its annual meeting in French Lick earlier this month. The YLS has historically been the largest section, and is currently comprised of more than 2,400 lawyers. Her term will expire in October 2016, after which she will become chair of the YLS and will serve on the board of governors of the ISBA.
Claybourn is associate general counsel at Berry Plastics Corporation. Previously, she served as an associate at the firm Jackson Kelly from 2012-13 and as a law clerk for Hon. Richard L. Young, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, from 2010-12. She received her B.S. from Indiana University and her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School.
Claybourn is a member of the Evansville and Indiana State bar associations. She currently serves as president of the Evansville Civic Theatre and is on the board of directors of the University of Evansville Theatre Society.
