Karl L. Mulvaney appointed as Indiana State Bar Association counsel to the president

INDIANAPOLIS (Oct. 22, 2015) – Karl L. Mulvaney, Indianapolis, was appointed as counsel to the president of the Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA) at its annual meeting in French Lick earlier this month. He was appointed by ISBA President Carol M. Adinamis, and his term will expire in October 2016.


Mulvaney is a partner at the firm Bingham Greenbaum Doll, where he focuses in the areas of appellate, litigation and disciplinary law. Previously, he served as a law clerk, assistant administrator and administrator at the Indiana Supreme Court from 1976-91. He served in the U.S. Army from 1972-74.


He received his B.S., cum laude, from The Ohio State University in 1972 and his J.D., cum laude, from the I.U. Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 1977. He is a member of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers (Fellow), Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society (president emeritus) and the Indianapolis, Indiana State, American and Seventh Circuit bar associations.
