Benjamin D. Fryman installed as chair of ISBA Young Lawyers Section

INDIANAPOLIS (Oct. 21, 2015) – Benjamin D. Fryman, Valparaiso, has been installed as chair of the Young Lawyers Section (YLS) of the Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA). The YLS has historically been the largest section, and is currently comprised of more than 2,400 lawyers. As chair, Fryman will coordinate multiple committees and events designed to assist young lawyers and will serve on the board of governors of the ISBA. His term will expire in October 2016.
Fryman is a founding partner and the current CEO of the firm Schwerd Fryman & Torrenga LLP. Previously, he was an associate at the Highland, Ind., Hilbrich Law Firm. He received his B.S., cum laude, from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2001 and his J.D. from the Valparaiso University School of Law in 2005. He is a member of the Porter County (current president), Lake County and Indiana State bar associations, National Diocesan Attorney Association, Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and the American Inns of Court. He is also active with the Faith Memorial Lutheran Church, where he serves on its board of directors and as finance chair.
