ISBA to offer Business School for Lawyers at Butler; registration deadline extended to Oct. 15

Indiana State Bar Association to offer Business School for Lawyers at Butler


INDIANAPOLIS (Aug. 28, 2015) – The Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA) is partnering with Butler University’s College of Business to offer the Business School for Lawyers, a unique program created to combine a lawyer’s technical training with business knowledge and skills required to keep a law practice afloat. All sessions will be held on the Butler campus in Indianapolis. Participants that take all five sessions will earn a Certificate of Business Administration. 


Session dates:

  • Oct. 30: Session 1 - Strategic Thinking & Business Development
  • Nov. 6: Session 2 - Financial Business Planning & Reporting
  • Nov. 13: Session 3 - Client Relationship Management
  • Dec. 4: Session 4 - Market Analysis for Growth & Business Development
  • Dec. 11: Session 5 - Human Capital Change Management
