Upholding Ethics: Recognizing and Helping Impaired Lawyers, Issues When Lawyers Change Jobs, and Promoting Civility
Presented by the ISBA Legal Ethics Committee Wednesday, December 17, 2025 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. ET 2.0 hr. CLE/Ethics About the event This program explores critical areas of legal ethics: recognizing and responding to signs of lawyer impairment, understanding the professional responsibilities that arise when lawyers change law firms, and combatting bullying by promoting civility. Attendees will learn how to navigate these sensitive situations while upholding their duties to clients, colleagues, and the profession. Practical guidance will be provided to help lawyers act ethically and supportively in times of transition or concern.
