About the event 

The Bankruptcy and Construction sections are hosting a joint CLE addressing the most common issues faced by practitioners in both specialties. The program will explore the intersection of construction and bankruptcy law and focus on construction and surety topics such as mechanic’s liens and bond claims, delay claims, recovery against owners, and other payment protection strategies, along with bankruptcy issues commonly encountered in the construction industry like the impact of the automatic stay, preference liability for contractors, impacts on payment and performance bonds, and executory contracts.
