About the event
Dinner with the Judiciary is a unique opportunity for emerging attorneys to engage in meaningful, personal conversations with members of Indiana’s judiciary over a shared meal. The judges and justices from the federal, state, and local levels in attendance will be offering insight into the profession and their experiences on the bench.
The evening begins at 5 p.m. with a reception, providing time for informal mingling among attorneys and judges. At 6 p.m., guests will enjoy dinner, seated in small groups with two-to-three members of the judiciary at each table to encourage thoughtful dialogue.
Attendees can expect participation from judges representing the Court of Appeals of Indiana, Indiana Supreme Court, Indiana Tax Court, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. Year after year, judges share how much they value the conversations and connections made during this event.
Space is limited and this program typically reaches capacity quickly. Timely registration is strongly encouraged. Walk-in registration will not be available.
The recommended attire for this event is business.

This event is just for members of the ISBA Young Lawyers Section & law students, and is specifically recommended for those who have been practicing for ten years or less. Pricing

Law Students: $50 Cancellation policy
Refunds will be issued for cancellations received in writing on or before October 28, 2025 and are subject to a $25 processing fee. Refunds will not be granted after October 28, 2025 nor will they be given for no-shows after the dinner.
