About the program

This on-demand bundle of CLE programs is designed to provide attorneys with a well-rounded refresher on commonly raised topics in pro bono work. Brush up on paternity actions and evictions, learn about conditional and pro bono licenses, and more as you prepare for pro bono service.

Sharing their knowledge of the legal system is a form of community service unique to attorneys. Through pro bono, attorneys work directly with community members who may have no other means of legal recourse. In just a few minutes, attorneys can share counsel and resources that will make a lifetime of difference. 

You can use this bundle to prep your own pro bono work. Or, you can join the ISBA for a group pro bono opportunity: "Talk to a Lawyer Today: Clearing the Queue.” This year, volunteers will be working to clear out the more than 300 questions waiting to be answered on the Indiana Legal Answers website. Volunteers who help clear the queue will receive this bundle at a reduced price.

Volunteer options and pricing:

Members who sign up to volunteer can purchase this CLE prep package at a significant discount. There are three options available:

1. Join us in person at the ISBA office on January 20, 2025 for a two-hour shift answering as many questions as possible on Indiana Legal Answers. Access the pro bono prep CLE bundle for $50.
2. Answer five questions on Indiana Legal Answers (on your own time) before the end of January 2025. Access the CLE bundle for $75.
3. Have no pro bono obligation. Access the CLE bundle for $250.

Choose the option you wish to pursue at registration. If you choose to volunteer in-person or on your own, you will receive additional instructions for those volunteer obligations soon. 

PLEASE NOTE: If you purchase the CLE bundle for the discounted rate but do not register for/participate in Talk to a Lawyer Today, you will be billed for the full price of the bundle.

• Ethics of Pro Bono Rule Reporting 6.7 and 6.1 (1.0 hr. CLE/Ethics)
• Specialized Driving Privileges (1.0 hr. CLE)
• Getting Right with Child Support (1.0 hr. CLE)
• Eviction and Sealing (1.0 hr. CLE)
• Limited Scope Services and Pro Bono (1.0 hr. CLE)

Use the "register" button at the top of this page to purchase the CLE bundle. You will immediately be emailed links to view the on-demand CLE courses any time between now and Talk to a Lawyer Today in January.
