What You Need to Know About the New Law

Presented by the ISBA Business Law Section

On-demand
1.0 hr. CLE

About the program

Beginning January 1, 2024, the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) will mandate that most small, privately owned businesses will be required to report company ownership and management personnel as well as information about those involved in forming and registering a company to do business in the United States. This webinar will help you to understand the requirements, scope and implications of the CTA.

You will learn:

  • Who is subject to the CTA and who is not
  • What must be reported
  • How information will be received and stored
  • Who can access reported information
  • How the CTA will affect your business and your clients’ business
  • Some practice tips and considerations on client services and engagement practices

Speakers:
Robert A. Greising, Krieg DeVault LLP
Travis D. Lovett, Krieg DeVault LLP
