About the program

This program will focus on the impact of the 2023 General Assembly on the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM). IDEM’s legislative director will provide an overview of all of the bills passed that affect the agency, as well as subjects that may emerge in the next legislative session. IDEM’s general counsel will discuss how the agency plans to implement the new laws, with particular attention to the new rulemaking process the agency must implement and its impact on current rulemaking actions already in process.
