Transgender Youth and the Law

About the event 

This program will discuss the current legal landscape for issues that impact all transgender and gender expansive youth—including discrimination and name and gender marker changes—and specific considerations for transgender youth involved in CHINS and termination of parental rights proceedings.

Attendees will also learn best practices and gain practical guidance for working with transgender youth.

This program is primarily intended for attorneys and advocates who work with youth.
