Seeking Council Members for the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section Council
The ISBA Alternative Dispute Resolution Section is seeking two Section members to serve on its Council. The Council consists of three officers and 12 members of the section -- four members per Central, Southern and Northern districts. The Council is the governing body that determines the Alternative Dispute Resolution's activities, goals, policies and programs consistent with its Bylaws and the directives and policies of the ISBA.
The Council currently has Central District and Southern District representative vacancies. These positions are to complete two-year terms (2019-2021) with the eligibility for re-election of additional two-year terms.
To qualify for the Central District, one must live and/or work in the following counties:
Adams, Benton, Blackford, Boone, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Delaware, Fountain, Grant, Henry, Howard, Huntington, Jasper, Jay, Madison, Marion, Miami, Montgomery, Newton, Randolph, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Wabash, Warren, Wayne, Wells, White
To qualify for the Southern District, one must live and/or work in the following counties:
Brown, Bartholomew, Clark, Clay, Crawford, Daviess, Dearborn, Decatur, Dubois, Fayette, Floyd, Franklin, Gibson, Greene, Hamilton, Hancock, Harrison, Hendricks, Jackson, Jefferson, Jennings, Johnson, Knox, Lawrence, Martin, Monroe, Morgan, Ohio, Orange, Owen, Parke, Perry, Pike, Posey, Putnam, Ripley, Rush, Scott, Shelby, Spencer, Sullivan, Switzerland, Union, Vanderburgh, Vermillion, Vigo, Warrick, Washington
Qualifications for Council membership include membership in good standing with the ISBA, membership in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, and a desire to advance the mission of the Section by helping plan, carry out, and support those programs, meetings, institutes, and seminars in furtherance of the mission.
