ISBA adds two new staff members

INDIANAPOLIS (Jan. 26, 2017) – Lisa Baxter has joined the Indiana State Bar Association as a section and committee liaison and Bryan C. Fisher has joined as the law practice management coordinator and assistance director of CLE.

Lisa's Bio:

Lisa serves as the liaison to the following sections: Agricultural Law; Criminal Justice; Elder Law; Family & Juvenile Law; General Practice, Solo & Small Firm; Health Law; International Law; Professional Legal Education, Admission & Development; Taxation; and Young Lawyers. She also serves as the liaison to the following committees: Diversity; Latino Affairs; and Law Student Engagement as well as the Mentor Match program.

She studied business management at Ivy Tech Community College. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and history from the University of Southern Indiana. She worked as a medical business manager, credentialing coordinator, and collection specialist in Evansville prior to pursuing a law degree at the I.U. Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Lisa is a featured student on I.U. McKinney’s website and was selected as a student panelist for the board of directors in 2015. She is a J.D. candidate, Class of 2017.

Lisa enjoys spending time with family and her greatest accomplishment is her two children, Jarrod and Presley.


Bryan's Bio:

Bryan is leading the effort to establish the ISBA as a vanguard resource for attorneys who manage law practices, from solo practices and small firms to large firms and corporate legal departments.

He received his B.S. in mechanical engineering technology (with honors) from the University of Dayton in 2006 and his J.D. from Florida State University in 2009. He has experience in engineering, consulting and business development, and has been a licensed attorney in Indiana since 2015. In his free time, he enjoys reading, writing and traveling.

His wife, Christina, is a student and distinguished scholar at the I.U. Robert H. McKinney School of Law, and works for the Indiana Court of Appeals.
