Professional enjoyment: That is a difficult question to answer because I enjoy several things about the profession. I really enjoy having the opportunity to help people resolve disputes and issues. I also get a great deal of fulfillment in the opportunities to help the less fortunate in our society as well as children.

Your inspiration: My biggest inspiration for becoming a lawyer was to acquire knowledge and resources so that I could make a difference in my community. Moreover, I knew that a lot of people who made significant advancements in the world had a law background or were able to use the law for making positive changes.

Why bar association involvement: Association in the bar is extremely important to me because it gives me an opportunity to stay connected in the profession and most importantly it serves as a way to uphold the mission of the bar to the community and to those within the profession.

If not a lawyer: Outside of being a professor, I would have chosen to be a television anchor/host of a TV show.

Fav hobbies: My favorite hobbies are playing tennis and attending sporting events and cultural activities. Fav book or author and current reading: From a spiritual perspective, my favorite book is the Bible. Fav vacation spot: Key Biscayne, Fla. Fav food or restaurant: My favorite type of food is Italian. I like pasta and anything tomato-based. Top of my bucket list: visiting all four of the Grand Slams in tennis.
