The Indiana Public Defender Council announces the opening of a new position of assistant executive director to assist in managing the agency, developing and supervising staff; overseeing the budget and fiscal management of the agency; and working with local, state and national criminal justice agencies and organizations to improve indigent defense in Indiana. It is anticipated that the incumbent in this position will become the executive director upon retirement of the current executive director in July 2018.
