INDIANAPOLIS (Oct. 26, 2015) – Ann Marie Waldron’s exceptional contributions to the profession of law and the citizens of Indiana were recognized at the Indiana State Bar Association’s annual meeting in French Lick earlier this month, where she received a presidential citation from Jeff R. Hawkins, outgoing president of the ISBA.
Waldron is a sole practitioner in Indianapolis, where she concentrates in the areas of commercial lending, real estate transactions, business litigation and personal injury litigation. Immediately following law school, she clerked for Hon. Robert H. Staton, Court of Appeals of Indiana.
Waldron has been active with the Indiana Mock Trial Association since 1999 and served as a member of the National High School Mock Trial Board from 2011 to 2015. Currently, she serves on the board of directors of the Notre Dame Club of Indianapolis. She is a member of the Indianapolis and Indiana State (incoming chair, GP, Solo & Small Firm Section; program chair, Solo & Small Firm Conference) bar associations, and the Order of Barristers.
Waldron received her B.A. from the University of Notre Dame in 1991 and her J.D., magna cum laude, from the I.U. Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 1995, where she served as the first symposium editor of the Indiana Law Review.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and is an avid scuba diver, having done more than 100 dives throughout the Caribbean and South America. Her other interests include college football and basketball, as well as major and minor-league baseball.
Founded in 1896, the Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA) is the single largest legal organization in the state. With nearly 12,000 members, the ISBA serves and advocates on behalf of its members, their clients and the public interest as the independent voice of the legal profession. The ISBA’s office is located in downtown Indianapolis. For more information about the State Bar, visit www.inbar.org.
