INDIANAPOLIS (Oct. 26, 2015) – Andrew R. Hawkins, outgoing president of the ISBA.

Dean Klein joined the faculty at the I.U. Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2000 and became dean in 2013. He is also the Paul E. Beam Professor of Law. From 2010-13, Dean Klein served as chief of staff to the Office of the Chancellor and Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at IUPUI.

Before joining I.U., he taught at Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law and practiced with the Chicago firm of Sidley & Austin. Dean Klein earned his B.A., with distinction, in journalism and economics from the University of Wisconsin and his J.D., with distinction, from the Emory University School of Law, where he studied as a Robert W. Woodruff Fellow in Law and was editor-in-chief of the Emory Law Journal.

Dean Klein’s scholarship focuses on the intersection of tort and environmental law.
