Carol M. Adinamis assumes office as State Bar president

INDIANAPOLIS (Oct. 13, 2015) – Carol M. Adinamis, Westfield, assumed the office of president of the Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA) for 2015-16 at the Association’s annual meeting in French Lick on Friday, Oct. 9. She succeeds Jeff R. Hawkins, Sullivan, who will now serve as immediate past president of the ISBA’s 25-member Board of Governors. As president, Adinamis will represent the single largest legal organization in the state.
Adinamis is a partner at the firm Adinamis & Saunders PC, where she focuses on business formation and planning, estate planning, mediation and taxation. Previously, she served as a CPA at Arthur Andersen. She received her B.S. in accounting from Indiana University-Bloomington in 1987 and her J.D., magna cum laude, from the I.U. Maurer School of Law in 1992. Adinamis is a member of the Indianapolis, Hamilton County, Indiana State (member, board of governors; chair, House of Delegates; treasurer, board of governors; chair, Legal Ethics Committee) and American bar associations, Indiana CPA Society and the American Institute of CPAs. She is also an active member of the Brebeuf Jesuit Mothers Association and Westfield Intermediate School PTO.
