Professional enjoyment: I love being a resource for clients. Many of my clients have no idea where to turn; they are faced with caring for an aging loved one while trying to maintain their own lives. I love being able to assist them and resolve their concerns.

Your inspiration: I am a third generation attorney. I grew up watching my father and grandfather practice law and help their clients. I also watched my mother care for her parents as they aged. I wanted to combine my experiences and assist older adults in my career. Practicing in the areas of estate planning and elder law has allowed me to accomplish that goal.

Why bar association involvement: Being involved in the bar association provides a means for me to give back to a profession that has given so much to me. I really enjoy meeting and working with other attorneys. The bar association has provided me with resources to grow as an attorney, life-long friends and leadership opportunities that I could not have experienced elsewhere.

If not a lawyer: interior designer

Fav hobbies: reading, walking, playing with my kids, decorating my house. Fav book or author and current reading: I love mysteries and fiction. There are too many authors to name just one. I'm currently reading Hamilton. I'm going to see the musical in December. Fav vacation spot: anywhere I can spend quality time with my family. Fav food or restaurant: Italian would definitely be at the top of my list. I love Mama Carolla's. Top of my bucket list: visiting Australia and New Zealand.
