About the program:

                Join ALJ William Pierson as he discusses his thoughts and observations about various topics, including:


-          How an ALJ prepares for a hearing

-          What an ALJ is looking for, both in the record and during the proceeding

-          What attorneys often do that is helpful versus what they often do that is not helpful

-          Procedural considerations (briefs, evidence, witnesses, hypotheticals, etc.

-          And more…



COURTHOUSE TOUR TO FOLLOW (1:00 pm to 2:00 pm)

                 At the conclusion of the program, a docent from the Allen County Courthouse Preservation Trust will be giving a tour of the courthouse for any attendees who would like to see more of this historic architectural masterpiece. The guided tour takes approximately one hour.*
