Writ of Certiorari
Newsletter The newsletter of the Land Use & Zoning Section, Writ
of Certiorari, is currently being published two times per year.
The editor, Krista B. Lockyear kbl@rfpj.com
welcomes members to contribute articles and information. Section members receive
the mailings of the newsletter as a member benefit. Section
Purpose The purpose of the Section shall be to promote the object
of the Association within the areas of land use regulation and zoning. To these
ends, the Section shall, (a) Aid and encourage the holding
of seminars, institutes and legal panels connected with the Section's objectives; (b)
Monitor proposed and pending legislation affecting land use and zoning; (c)
Promote the administration of justice by simplifying and expediting related forms
and procedures; (d) Assemble and disseminate information for
the better understanding of the public in matters relating to the legal areas
of interest to the Section; and (e) Consider and act upon all
matters of legal interest relating to the various subjects covered by this Section. Section
Bylaws Officers and
Council The Chair, Chair Elect, and Secretary and Treasurer hold
their positions for two-year terms commencing at the Annual Meeting held during
the ISBA Annual Meeting in the fall. The Council consists of
the current Officers of the Section, the Chair and the Immediate Past Chair of
