a reference for section activities and to encourage other members of the ISBA
to join the section. Membership
· Section Annual Dues, $15.00, July 1-June 30 · Any member in good standing
of the ISBA is eligible for membership in the International Law Section.
· If you wish to join the International Law Section, send $15.00 to the ISBA along
with your annual dues or separately to ISBA Membership Dept, One Indiana Square,

Membership application Section
Purpose The purpose of this section shall be: 1.
To promote understanding and expertise in the field of International Law including
Comparative Law, and to that end promote education, interest, activity and research
in International Law and related areas; 2. to bring together
as a resource and for mutual benefit, those members of the Association who are
interested in International Law;
3. to diffuse knowledge
of International Law among members of the legal profession and others;
4. to formulate professional opinion on International Law issues;
5. to monitor and review legislative developments in International Law; and,
6. to advise the Association on issues relating to International Law as and when
they are referred to the Section;
7. to plan, carry out
and assist in programs, meetings, seminars and other activities in furtherance
of the foregoing.
Section
Bylaws Officers and
Council The Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary/Treasurer hold their
positions for one-year terms commencing at the Annual Meeting held during the
ISBA Annual Meeting in the fall. The Council consists of the
officers of the Section and the other members of the Section elected in the same
fashion. All past Chairs of the Section are honorary members of the Council. View the Officers and Council
