The newsletter of the General Practice, Solo and Small Firm
Section, GP ~ Reporter, is currently
being published four times per year. The editor, Stephen
M. Terrell terrell@hoosierlawyer.us
welcomes members to contribute articles and information.
Section members receive the mailings of the newsletter as
a member benefit.
Public Service Information
The GP Section provides to the public, at no charge, a brochure
entitled, "How Can I Find and Hire the Right
Lawyer?". The brochure is available through
the ISBA office at isbaadmin@inbar.org
or by calling 317-639-5465.
Section Purpose
The purpose of the General Practice, Solo and Small Firm Section
is to enhance the role of general practitioners as contributing
members and leaders of their communities and the legal profession,
and to provide a medium through which general practitioners
may cooperate with, encourage, and assist each other in the
resolution of problems common to them and to the legal profession.

Bylaws
Officers and Council
The Chair, Chair-Elect, Vice Chair, and Secretary/Treasurer
hold their positions for one-year terms commencing at the
Annual Meeting held during the ISBA Annual Meeting in the
fall.
The Council consists of the current Officers,
one member of the Section from each ISBA district who serve
staggered two-year terms, Chairs of each of the Committees
of the Section, and the immediate Past Section Chair. All
other Past Chairs are honorary members of the Council without
voting privileges.
