member in good standing of the ISBA is eligible for membership in the Employment
& Labor Law Section.

The
Workplace Lawyer
The newsletter of the Employment & Labor
Law Section, The Workplace Lawyer,
is currently being published two times per year. The co-editors,
Kimberly Jeselskis, kjeselskis@maceylaw.com;
Ryan McCabe Poor, poor@icemiller.com
welcomes members to contribute articles and information.
Section members receive the mailings of the newsletter as
a member benefit.
Section
Purpose
The purpose of this Section shall be
1) to promote the objectives of the Association
within the field of employment and labor law.
2) The Section shall study and report upon
the proposed, necessary and desirable Federal and State
labor or employment related legislation;
3) encourage members of the Association interested
in workplace issues throughout Indiana to meet and confer
upon their various problems through this Section;
4) promote the legal education of members
of the Bar and the public on the problems of employment
relations through sponsoring of meetings, institutes, and
conferences and by preparing and publishing legal writings
in the field of labor and employment law.

Officers
and Council
The Chair, Chair Elect, Vice Chair, and Secretary/Treasurer
hold their positions for two-year terms commencing at the
Annual Meeting held during the ISBA Annual Meeting in the
fall.
The Council consists of the officers of the Section, and
fifteen other members of the Section. Two members of the
Council are designated as Public Members and all members
of the Council serve one-year terms.
