Membership
· Section Annual Dues, $30.00, July 1-June 30.
· Any member in good standing of the ISBA is eligible for
membership in the Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights Section.
· If you wish to join the Bankruptcy & Crediotrs' Rights

· Newsletter
Order for Relief
The newsletter of the Bankruptcy and Creditors'
Rights Section, Order for Relief,
is currently being published two times per year. The co-editors,
Erick P. Knoblock, eknoblock@daleeke.com,
and Patricia L. Marshall, pat_marshall@insb.uscourts.gov,
welcomes members to contribute articles and information. Section
members receive the mailings of the newsletter as a member
benefit.
Section Purpose
The purpose of this Section shall be:
(a) to promote understanding and expertise in
the field of Commercial and Bankruptcy Law, and to that end
promote education, interest, activity and research in Commercial
and Bankruptcy Law and related areas,
(b) to bring together as a resource and for
mutual benefit those members of the Association who are interested
in Commercial and Bankruptcy Law,
(c) to diffuse knowledge of Commercial and Bankrupcty
Law among members of the legal profession and others,
(d) to formulate professional opinion on Commercial
and Bankruptcy Law issues,
(e) to monitor and review legislative developments
in Commercial and Bankruptcy Law,
(f) to advise the Association on issues relating
to Commercial and Bankruptcy Law as and when they are referred
to the Section
(g) to plan, carry out and assist in programs,
meetings, seminars and other activities in furtherance of
the foregoing.

Bylaws
Officers and Council
The Chair, Chair-Elect, and Secretary/Treasurer hold their
positions for one-year terms commencing at the Annual Meeting
held during the ISBA Annual Meeting in the fall.
The Council consists of the current Officers
and eight other members of the Section elected also for one-year
terms. All past chairmen of the Section are noted as honorary
members of the Council.
