Congratulations to team Bose McKinney & Evans (BME) for winning the 2013 American Lung Association's Fight for Air Law Firm Challenge. This award is presented to the top fundraising firm, and BME set a new record this year, having raised $9,631 to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. A huge “thank you” goes to Carla Peck, team captain. Her enthusiasm and creativity were outstanding! The Lung Association is lucky to have incredible team captains within all participating law firm teams: Carla Peck, Mark Crandley, Ed Smid, Tim Karns, Jean Congilen, Vanessa Davis, Angela Woodlee, Meghan Haller, Kelli Sharpe, Melissa Yaryan and Michelle Maslowski.
Second and third place finishers were Barnes & Thornburg, the 2012 champion, with $8,815; and Frost Brown Todd, the 2011 champion, with $5,025.
The top three finishing firms along with Krieg DeVault, Bingham Greenebaum Doll, Taft Stettinius & Hollister, Kightlinger & Gray and Ogletree Deakins made this year the highest grossing Law Firm Challenge to date. The grand total was $30,665! Those funds will stay here in Indiana to directly help Hoosiers battling lung disease. It is truly an incredible gift to the community from Indiana law firms!
