The Honors Committee is empowered, upon consent of a majority of the Board of Governors, to confer appropriate recognition and honors upon any person who has rendered outstanding service to the legal profession.  It is the duty of this committee to report to each Semi-Annual meeting of the Association the names of all members who shall have died since the date of the last report.  The committee is empowered to take whatever action it deems appropriate under the circumstances concerning the death of any member.
